      that's not A-data.
I guess it means PTA but a quick google search turned up nothing but a single similar thread with no real conclusion.

Re: can anyone i.d this ram?

Generic memory using reject chips. Bin it and note the solder jumpers. Eeek!

Memory stuff are tested before the markings are lasered on BY the memory MAKER. If memory maker rejects them but still usable for very, very relaxed timings it's sold on the market unlabeled and other generic memory assembler buy them up and mark them.

I don't approve this either as these rejects usually have short life span because memory makers tests them well including temp monitoring & current monitoring, poor chips tend to have abnormal readings and is rejected for this reason.

These I get like this usually is flaky or dying or blown up. I cussed at a guy who sold me a notebook (C600) with 512MB of two 256mb sticks, one was generic and failing (1). This tend to be found from staples or best buy and computer stores of ill-repute are always generic because of price and they were overpriced too to boot so that's very insulting.)

        (1) It is SDRAM and unfortunely costly on the market so I didn't upgrade it back to full 512MB on a old notebook so it is kind of sour deal in first place considering I paid 300 for both C600 and r40. Same price issue on DDR memory right now. r40 (1GB) and D600 (768MB) still are had not upgraded ever since when I paid one 1GB memory stick last summer when price was right.

        Sigh.

ATP is also generic memory assembler.

Did you run CPUZ to see if it can read anything from SPD?

Unrelated question, but how does the VRM burn up? is it a human error type of thing through negligence?

I guess this is what comes from those ebay sellers with DDR1 ram. Glad I never bought it.

I'm assuming the Delta-like or Triangular symbol is the crest of the company and the actual name of the company making this RAM is Tandon Europe Ltd.

                          Hi all,

at firs, i hope this is the right place to post my question.

Im looking for a tool to change the bios logo.

everyone knows when you turn on your laptop/pc you will see the manufacturer logo like lenovo, hp, dell...

i know that HP has a build in option to change the splash logo.

but i want to change the manufacturer logo to an own logo.

I try'd Change Logo 5.0, but when i make a backup of an laptop and edit the logo and flash the editted version back on the laptop the logo diddnt change.

Can anyone identify logo shown below?
The logo I showed can be found on the PCB's of laptops NP530U3B, NP530U3C, NP540U3B, NP540U3C, etc.

I assume this is a logo of one of the PCB's manufacturers, but I'm not sure.
Neither ChatGPT nor Copilot know the correct answer.
                          TIA

Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.

2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.

The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but...

Fujitsu Esprimo K557/24 allinone desktop, boot logo
                          by p.puhakka
                          Hello forum!

I have received a lot of help here, regarding bios modding. Very thankful!

Now I have a lot of Fujitsu K557 desktops, and those have custom bios logo/custom splash screen, and I need to change them to the original Fujitsu logo.

I am looking for the easiest way, because I have about 40pcs of them, and I think there is some "official" way to do this.

I have tried a lot of Fujitsu tools, which can inject the logo to the bios file, but no luck.

                          Any suggestions? Thanks!
