so anyway. the first one is downstairs where one computer is and their router. then one cable joins downstairs to upstairs where the second panel is and where all the rooms on that floor terminate. there i put a 3com gigabit 8 switch and also a wap54g.
i was having a hell of a problem trying to get the wap54g working connected to the wall socket in another room. like hours. then i got fed up and connected the laptop directly to the wall. the laptop was running vista and the lan connection was connected/disconnected/connected/disconnected. wierd. i guessed that there was some problem with the socket then unless that is some vista feature?
what they had done was connected another socket in that room to that socket. ugh. looks like they had not even tested it as only one pair of the other socket was working. whilst the first socket had all pairs ok.
wasted like 2-3 hours with that shit. wished i had a fluke network tester instead of my standard cheapo one.Last edited by willawake; 03-08-2008, 01:38 PM.Comment

You guessed right: this is mostly due to bad / intermittent contacts. Recheck all you sockets, pushing the cable well inside them.Originally posted by willawake

hello everyone, I'm looking for the wiring diagram of this led monitor.
the model is DHI-LM19-L200, but I think that any other diagram of a DAHUA monitor could be equivalent.
I really hope that among you someone can help me to repair this monitor, the screen is black, it doesn't seem like a backlight problem.
I see the presence of 12 volts, 5 volts, but without a diagram the repair is very difficult.

Hi all.
A while back I was given a very dead Ya Xun 878D+ rework station, the kind that has a fixed hot air gun and a removable iron with the 5 pin socket.
It was a fairly straightforward repair and has been working well, but one thing has bugged me was that the hot air gun couldn't be disconnected, so I bought an 8 pin socket and plug set in order to resolve this.
Yesterday, after stripping it down and cutting the wires, it dawned on me that there is probably a 'standard' as to which wires are connected to which of the 8 pins?

I have recently moved house and dismantled a working 5.1 home cinema
system. Unfortunately when putting it back together again I get no
sound out of the sub, I'll try and give you as much (probably too much)

When is talk about making isolation transformer on poor-man way, always I see schematic 240/12-12/240.
So, I wonder, is this wiring from my attachment it work, bringing some good feature or it is bad idea and why?...
