    PS. Speedfan reporting 6V on the 12V rail seems to indicate speedfan is still buggy either for your chipset, bios, bios settings, motherboard and/or OS.

    Try another program as suggested in the link above.

    PS. Your BIOS readings are likely correct.

      ok thanks. ive just realised too that my bios needs updated and also been advised elsewhere to download Asus AI Suite 2 so gonna do that also, will update my findings.

        or you have to take the plate off !
        then clean it and use thermal paste
        Just cook it! It's already broken.

              not sure how to do that cant find the setting, having a read through some forums just now, seem to be running alot cooler though. using freeware called Speccy it says my CPU is running between 32-35oC which is alot better than 92oC

                reboot the computer and hold down the "DEL" key usually.
                that or "F2"
