    Driver help

Now that I have found the parts needed to make my VFX1 work, I need to power it by a good card that still uses the feature connector.
I have in the parts bin an old Leadtek GeForce2 Pro that fits the bill perfectly but the problem is getting the drivers. I want to get the very latest drivers and everywhere I look I can find them but they are always located on sites where you have to login to get the drivers and it's driving me nuts.
I need to find both the latest Windows 98 and Windows 2000 drivers.
I'll keep searching but could I get some assistance?

    EDIT:
It looks like the latest 2k/XP drivers are 61.20 and the latest 9x/ME drivers are 61.21

Driverguide has old ones. The login prompt is for the winfast website. all the sites seem to be redirecting to it.

              WOW!
The Nvidia drivers are far newer than the Leadtek ones.
              Thanks will!

                  Re: Driver help

Yes, just make sure you get the right driver pack. NVIDIA drivers come in an "all-in-one" package so you only have to download one file for all graphics cards. However since their line is so huge now after all these years, they have been cutting out the drivers for "legacy" graphics chips like your great Geforce 2 Pro card. Therefore you must use an older "all-in-one" package so that your graphics cards drivers will be included.

I just checked NVIDIA's website, they have made selecting the right package to download much easier if you have a legacy device than say a year and a half ago or so. When I needed drivers for a legacy device. I had to dig down their archive of drivers and flick through the readme file online and find out if my legacy chip is supported. Eventually I found the newest drivers that still supported my graphics card but it was a royal pain in the ass to find it.

                    Re: Driver help

Yeah they really cleaned it up recently.
To my luck, both the 2K and the 98 drivers were readily available so I should be fine.

                      Hi,

You can download this driver (mod nVidia 66.93 by Leadtek) if you want to use Leadtek(Winfast)own driver and want to show the original device name(Winfast GeForce2 Pro) in Windows XP devices manager.

I'm not going to be running the card with XP. As a matter of fact, if I can't get the controller card for my VFX1 to work with Windows 2000 I will be sticking with windows 98.
