In a Beelink GTR mini PC, mine has an Intel AX200NGW WLAN module.
Tried (only with keyboard/mouse connected):- BIOS + database update
- Using latest Windows 11 image built with official image creation tool
- Previous setup version for Windows 11 installer
- Replacing SSD without a slow block (the previous SSD had a slow block with access time > 500 mS)
- TPM reset (worked to the point where DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error message is displayed briefly after the point of stalling)
- Disabling power to WLAN and LAN modules in BIOS (Advanced > AMD PBS > PCI Express Configuration)

got an Acer here with the problem that when i'm installing windows it just crashes (turns off) and not going back on as soon as i press the power button.
I've tried it with different sticks and windows versions and also with windows 10 and 11 but it's the same problem.
The only difference is that when i want to install windows 11 it crashes during the installation screen when "getting files ready for installation" at 25% - 30% progress and
when i install windows 10 it goes trough until the restart and at "getting devices ready" it... -
I am contemplating upgrading an old HP Pavilion HP-A550Y from Windows XP to WIndows 10. This machine has a 3 GHz Pentium 4 "Prescott" processor. I have some additional RAM to add. Have plenty of HDD space. I have several questions on how to best proceed at this late (for Windows 10, anyway) date.
Where is a good place to get a copy of Windows 10 and the activation key? Would I use 32 bit or would I use 64 bit version? Is it possible to do a fresh installation of Windows 10 these days and not an upgrade? If upgrading, is it possible to go from XP to 10 directly and without... -

I have a problem with windows activation. The laptop has the original version of windows 8 included by the manufacturer. The laptop worked on the original activated key for several years. Recently I wanted to try to see if I could still upgrade to windows 10 (it was a mistake). Of course, the time to upgrade to windows 10 has long since ended and my key was rejected. I came to terms with this and wanted to reinstall windows 8, I downloaded the system from the windows website, after starting the procedure it showed a window to enter the key, I entered and to my surprise now also...
