Are OST and Teapo still considered badcaps? Does ECS still use them exclusively? I'm kind of stuck in a ditch with money and my compy's broke so the only board in my range (plus a Sempron 3000+) is the ECS C51GM-M at Neweg.

I wouldn't trust it. Teapos are known to go open, and of course you know OST all too well.... Recap it before you install it. Preventative maintenance is the best way!<--- Badcaps.net Founder

The last X-series (budget) motherboard I had from Asus had decent capacitors IIRC... can't comment on the AM2 socket variants though
