    v15 -iil tpm not working

    Hi , i have a v15-iil laptop , after a bios error (ACPI BIOS ERROR) i gave my laptop to a repair shop , idk what he did , after he gave me the laptop , i tried to see if the tpm is working , so i can play a game , but i cant really see the tpm , it says tpm unusable , pcr7 binding impossible , if anyone can help me fix the problem ( ive tried everything ) , or give me the tpm chip link to buy , btw can some one also show me where the tpm chip is on my laptop , is it on the processor or a regular chip , Thanks , im new to this

          the TPM may be emulated in the bios.
          whats the exact make & model?

                  i mean some machines dont actually have a seperate TPM chip, they just use software to create a fake one for the operating system to use.

                              Yes it enabled but idk why it dosent show on the OS , a lot of lenovo users have this problem and my warranty is expired

                                  i have many 5050sff. all of them, and how i experienced over many years for all about 250 DELLs goin through my hands, are fully flashable and can be serviced in any way when the service_mode jumper is set.
                                  Never ever i experienced problems with that.

                                  Now i have one 5050sff machine, where this jumper isnt working at all.
                                  I do not get the normal messge that the jumper is set when booting and a short test with FPT just confirms this. Everything is locked -->> EVEN for reading !?

                                  The history of the machine is that i used it in my office...

                                  I have the above mentioned bord after repair, which was related to a lot of missing smd devices on the back of the board.
                                  There were almost 20 devices missing, caps, resistors and some diodes/mosfets.
                                  The board is generally working now, all PCIe ports are working, Windows installs normally.

                                  However I have a problem with SATA ports 4-7 (the board has 8 SATA ports) - disks are not beeing recognized by the BIOS neither by Windows (which is usually normal in case BIOS does not recognize them).

                                  Hi i have one Macbook Air 2020 where touch ID is not working (it's not scanning fingerprints). Touch ID was working before, there is no error message during scanning fingerprint it's just not scanning on screen you can see only fingerprint but there are no red updates as when it's working. Power button is working fine.

                                  I've checked boardview and also schematics but i'm not able to find anything related to TouchID ... i have similar issue on a2338 where there was problem with PP3V0_TOUCHID​ and after replacing UT610 it was working but here i'm not able to find anything related to...

                                  Dear colleagues,
                                  I've entered the repair of the chromebook machines just one month ago and I've found some significant differences from the classic laptops or macbooks, so I'm searching some advices.

                                  The owner of this chromebook gave it to me after it has been left flooded by water for almost a week, so chances of repair were not so high, the mainboard was oxidyzed in many spots but I made a nice cleaning, resoldering and component replaging work and now it is almost working.
