This jack was broken off the board and I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. it has an inclined female end. Any help is appreciated

it looks o.k. - the pcb looks fucked though.

well there is a gold piece missing from the jack, and it pulled the pads from the board, I scratched around the pads to see if there were any traces. I'll cover them with a mask after adding new pads.Comment

you can probably find the jack on aliexpress,
you will probably have to epoxy it down and then run wires to the signal source though.

I'm working on my sister's laptop: Asus VivoBook F510UA-AH51 - The motherboard died so I replaced it.
The original board was:
ASUS X510UNR REV 3.0 A
The replacement board is:
ASUS X510UNR REV 3.0 B (identical except B vs A - I couldn't find an A board anywhere. Visually they are identical.)
It boots right up on the replaced motherboard and everything works fine on the new motherboard - but it won't run off battery. When I disconnect the charger it immediately dies. When I plug it back in and reboot the system - it still shows the battery at... -

had T490 with faulty bios chip. Bought chip out of ebay and soldered on. Laptop starts and works however serial numbers of laptop and motherboard do not match.
I have updated laptop model number.
1) I did not find the way to update laptop serial number - I have this one.
2) I dont know where to get my motherboard serial number and how to update it. Is it somewhere physically on the mainboard? How do I update it?
Hope to find someone to help me with this as I am hitting dead end at the moment.

This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

I have a faulty motherboard controlling G150XG01 LCD monitor. Pictures attached of two separate motherboards. I have being searching online for a schematic of the boards, none of the codes on the boards are giving any results when searching. Is it possible to get schematics for these? Is it possible to repair these surface mount pcb's, what are the common faults?

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.
My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.
