Hi guys; i just want to watch live streaming soccer games on line,
what's the benefits of installing XBMC over just getting streaming soccer site links? thanks and have an Happy New Year.

Thanks mmartell: i just downloaded XBMC just to check it out and i was disappointed
with the sports streaming apps most of the streams do not open or keep buffering '
I'm better of with streaming sites links.

Ya some addons are dead and some are actively supported. If it's one of the more popular sites the addon is likely still in active development.

Hmm.. I thought you were referring to subscription based services... the free links are always hit and miss.

Hi; no subscription here,besides they don't carry the teams i like to watch the Sports i like is Live soccer from Europe special from Portugal and is rights protected by XBMC, that's why it's not easy to watch good games in XBMC cause most the sites getting those games are blocked by XBMC, i bet you they have software to block the piracy.It's like Slingbox use to get free stuff now dishnet bought the Slingbox company and now they control everybody that has one with update software that get those pirate sports sites obsolete.,
This weak i've been just testing XBMC but i only tryed it to check what Live soccer games and how good they are, as steady video with no buffering and i was disappointed with so much freeze and broken repositories, that i gave up and uninstalled Xbmc. my regular link sites work like a charm.

xbmc has no "rights protection" nor does any blocking. Join one of the third party xbmc sites (NOT xbmc.org as they ARE more sensitive to piracy issues) and request a dev make an addon for the websites you are referring to.

xbmchub dot com and/or xunitytalk dot com are two you can try.

Thanks mmarell: i'll give that a try but to tell you the truth i think i can get by with just links
for my favourite live soccer games, i already tried some thirth party repositorries of addons and i had no luck most of the addon streams are broken or buffering too much,xbmc is good but for other stuff like recording streaming videos movies and so on , but for live events games where there are rights protected it's a no no.
