Xp end of life will current updates be available?
I know there will be no more new updates but will Microsoft servers still serve current set of updates.

Should be at least until 2014.

Anyway, you can download each update manually so what's the big deal... just save everything on a second cd.

Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 has an extended support date ending in 4/9/2019. I assume it will be possible to port over the updates to XP.

XP x64 edition should be able to accept Windows 2003 service packs, so that's sometime around 2015.

Being as you could still get archived updates for Windows 98 until a couple of years ago, I'd say it's a good bet they'll be around for a bit.
