    Sticker Shock !!

    I was in the process of ordering a few parts etc from Newegg.com when I remembered I was out of 2032 lithium 3v button batteries so I did a quick search on their site for them, rather than make 2 orders from different places etc.

    AAarrghhh !!! I couldn't believe my eyes !! I mean, like, really !!?? In a real pinch I've blown $4 + on one from a local store but on Newegg they range from $16 + $8 shipping, down. WTF ! Each ! I don't care what quality they are or if they've been to the moon and back ! Wow ! Are buyers that gullible ?

    In sensible land, Digikey and similar 'tronics sales has Panasonics for 28 cents each. OK, 15 cents if you buy 1200. No short supply either, they have 3.5 million in stock ! Not on a glossy printed bubble pack card though, perhaps thats where the costs go..

    Stunned at the gonads of some retailers..

      I get 'em wherever I see a good deal. THe dollar store (not that I go there much)
      or the discount auto place (3 for $4.00 Sanyo branded)
      36 Monitors, 3 TVs, 4 Laptops, 1 motherboard, 1 Printer, 1 iMac, 2 hard drive docks and one IP Phone repaired so far....

        I order them off ebay. 10 for $1 + free shipping, sometimes 15 for $1 + free shipping.

        The ones I received so far all seem to work okay in various PCs.

        If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

        We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

        Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

          Somebody said you can get 3 CR2032 cells for $1 at Dollar Tree if you buy a 3-pack of small LED "flameless tea light" candles, UPC# 627442061651.

              Wife has enough tea lights and prefers to attempt to burn the house down. Mulberry scented, of course !
