When we were signing up for a Telstra BigPond dialup account for a stay at a hotel, it does not have any options for dial prefixes (necessary for buildings such as hotels and apartments) during the automated setup
. A Pay TV receiver I have handled had dial prefix options.
But why would Telstra assume all users have a direct dial line (without the need for dial prefixes)? I think Telstra needs to update their startup CDs in their kits...
Any other ISPs who have startup CDs which do not prompt for dial prefixes during automated setup?
