ISP starter CDs not catering for users requiring dial prefixes

When we were signing up for a Telstra BigPond dialup account for a stay at a hotel, it does not have any options for dial prefixes (necessary for buildings such as hotels and apartments) during the automated setup . A Pay TV receiver I have handled had dial prefix options.

But why would Telstra assume all users have a direct dial line (without the need for dial prefixes)? I think Telstra needs to update their startup CDs in their kits...

Any other ISPs who have startup CDs which do not prompt for dial prefixes during automated setup?
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

Given the ISP, I can't say I'm shocked. I've never heard anything good about them...

    That is bad, though.

If I remember correctly, you did have this option with Juno, but it's been a while, so I forget.
You know there's something wrong when you open up a PSU and are glad to find Teapos.
Why I don't buy cheap cases!

seems most big isp's are more interested in pushing advertising, spyware, and other crap than giving good service these days.sbc installer got a bit upset when i told him he was not to install the software on a pc i just fixed for my neighbor.told him to install the dsl modem and leave.
he went to open the cd drive and i took the cd from his hand and broke it.he left.sbc yahoo tryed to sweetalk the customer into installing it later.they were referred to me and i told them they could mail as many cd's as they wished and i and a few friends would put them in the nuker if we got bored!

There are also small ISP's that work the same way, plenty of rural ones aren't up to speed on various things.
Ya'll think us folk from the country's real funny-like, dontcha?
