Dual CPU Idiot Act Effects Caps?

I have two ASUS P2B-D boards. The one I've been posting about with its problems booting up XP Pro (as well as dissappearing drives in 98SE in another thread); I'm still working on that problem with that board and will post on the progress shortly; the second board is out of commission. This is about the second board.

Okay, time to fess up; if I send the one board in I've been talking about to have the caps replaced, I'll send 'em both if this second board can be resurrected through cap replacement, so I may as well ask the questions now...

I did a totally stupid thing (that is putting it mildly) and a while ago put two separate slot one Pentiums in this dual board: one PII450 and in the other slot, a PIII500. The board worked fine until I did this boner move. At any rate, I seem to have killed it; it won't POST. Then I tried reconfiguring the jumpers for just one CPU, the PII450; nothing. Still no POST. I reconfigured for the PIII500, which is the way they were set originally; nothing.

Question is: Can this board be resurrected or is it completely dead and gone?

That should not have caused any damage

I've even heard of people running systems like that, it's not supposed to work but it does anyway for some strange reason or another

And anyway, it surley would not have affected any of the capacitors, hook of a Port80h test device to it and see where it fails, you can get them off eBay for like 5$...
