Who knows their intel?

I bought a laptop with an ultra-low-voltage i3 processor about a month ago. Today I pulled up Task Manager for the first time and I was greeted by this:



After I finished rubbing my eyes I went into Device Manager and found this:


I can't find anything on Google. Is there some sort of hyperthreading going on or are CULV i3s really rocking 4 cores?

The i-series are Core 2 Duo + the Hyper-Threading of Pentium 4. So they appear to the OS as twice the amount of cores they actually have.

My dual quad core shows 16 cores in task manager with HT on.

This is somewhat unrelated but for "intel in sight" iphone app contest thingy all you gotta do is go on google images and save them to ur phone
But im not 18yet so i cant actually win anyhing .

Desktop i3s also show 4 cores in task manager.

Thanks guys. I was highly doubtful that a low-end processor like the i3 would have four cores, but google wasn't giving me anything.
