Oh dammit. The Tunnelguard system that my university uses to authenticate users on the Wi-Fi system hates Windows Vista home basic... it won't work regardless of what I try!

LOL the graphics card doesn't support Windows 7 as it's an Intel Extreme one with only 64MB VRAM.
