Re: 6.3v 1800uf im a beginer help pls !!!
it is not recommended to use old caps from another board but maybe you succeed
it is ok to go up one step, ie from 1800 to 2200 is ok. nothing bad is going to happen -
Re: 6.3v 1800uf im a beginer help pls !!!
So you are telling me that i can change from 1800 uf to 2200 uf and nothing is going to happen ?!?!?!? And it is a problem that i change only 2 of them ? i mean there are total like 6 capacitors with 1800 uf and 4 of them are in perfect condition , can i change only 2 of the 6 , i mean if i change 2 caps , i will have 2 caps with 2200 uf and 4 caps with 1800uf , will this cause problems or can i go with it ? Please tell me i want to begin the procedure if you aprove that it will be ok !!! HELP !!!Comment

by ManiackkHi,
I’ve got a stubborn patient here. The laptop powers on and works, all components like the screen, keyboard, touchpad, etc. are functional. The issue is that it heats up very quickly under load (within a few minutes up to 95°C) and then shuts down shortly after. Subsequent attempts to turn it back on right after a “hot shutdown” result in it shutting off within a few seconds. Interestingly, if I enter the BIOS, it can stay there for 2 days without shutting down (most likely due to low CPU load and low temperatures).
The cooling system has been cleaned, thermal...09-03-2025, 09:32 AM -
by jamespeterhHi, all
I've posted a similar Q&A on alternative site but this site seems to be more focused in saving UPS.
The system is a SUA 2200XL Rev 7 230V 640-0800G Rev 7
I have UPS that has a strange fault, it does not show or indicate any load on the system, via display or internally coms, LED test front panel works all light up.
has anyone else seen a fault like this , operates but no load recorded, or just blown one of the important non replacable IC's
1. internal monitoring via cable direct into the CPU that no load is present even...06-21-2025, 06:19 PM -
