I came across some technical terms that are used to describe some capacitor types, mostly in the US. I was wondering what axialytic rabro and radialytic rabro mean? I can guess that axialytic is perhaps a combination of words axial and electrolytic. The same applies to radialytic. What does rabro mean?

I have no idea what 'Rabro' is since I also see "disposal, such as Polar Tantalum Capacitor, New/Stock, Smd Tantalum, Disc Cap Rabro, Capacitor, Case C, 470Uf, 2.5V; Capacitor Application:Solid; Cap" on some sites.Never stop learning

by SapientLionHello, everyone!
This is my first actual post on this forum. I don't know anyone here nor have any knowledge on proper etiquette that is supposed to be applied here... So, bear with me and my mistakes. I'll try my best.Regardless, here's my story.
A few days ago, i discovered and managed to purchase two AGP x8 GPUs (ASUS Extreme N6600 [NVIDIA GeForce 6600] and ASUS AX1650PRO AGP [ATI Radeon X1650 Pro] ), from a trusted seller, for dirt cheap, which were released way back in 2004/05. They were primarily used for graphics design and 3D modelling. As far as know,... -
by benareenoIt seems like this should be possible...just the outer screen and diffusion screen from say TCL...could I not use that to fix an LG? Just throwing some manufacturers out there...

by mostachioHi Badcaps,
I've had a friend discard a TH-65DX700Z Pansonic Viera Television and I've decided to have a go at repairing it. If possible could I please get some advice in terms of diagnosing the problem so I can purchase the appropriate parts for repair whether it be components, a repair kit or a replacement board. I am happy to post pictures if required.
TV Details:
Model # - TH-65DX700Z
Symptoms:
The television turns on and displays a picture then makes a clicking sound and turns off.
I haven't opened it up yet but... -
by Ady2017Hi all
I need to replace a 680uF 35V SamYoung NXB cap which has got a ripple of 1820. Whilst passing my local little electronics shop I picked up what they had in stock which was a 680uF 35V Panasonic FC with a ripple of 1655.
As the ripple rating is only 9% below what the original was I am wondering whether to risk it and fit it.
The catalogues specify a capacitance tolerance of +/-20% but state nothing about the ripple. If there is a similar tolerance for ripple then I might be worrying about nothing. Does anybody know?
Thanks-

by momakaLike the title says, I have a Pegatron M2N78-LA (HP P/N: 513430-002) motherboard out of an HP Pavilion PC. The motherboard hard-locks during POST when it gets to the part of trying to detect the SATA devices *only* if there is a SATA device (be it HDD or optical drive) connected to any of the SATA ports. I cannot enter BIOS or do anything when this occurs. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del cannot restart the system either. In fact, the keyboard locks up too (Num Lock status LED cannot be toggled anymore.). However, if I disconnect everything from the motherboard's SATA ports, the motherboard can POST successfully...
