    lelon date code

has there been any information on the date code of the caps from lelon that are suspect. i have a motherboard that was built in 2004. are these suspect or was it only between 1999-2001?

    any input is appreciated.

    thanx

actually that is one thing we are missing but since posters dont provide date codes i doubt if we will ever reach that level of detail. no point unless we can get everybody to provide them.

At the moment i would trust lelon to be crap. Other brands have not changed and it is unlikely for low quality brands to offer good caps now. i dont recall how long before lelons failed on one msi board i had, a few years maybe.

Intergraph TDZ 2000 mainboard post code 2F/2E
      by Sorrow1
      Hi,

I try to repair an old Intergraph TDZ 2000 from 1998. It is a dual Pentum II machine based on Intel 440LX chipset. There is a non-removable bios chip named PhoenixBios B1787840. I cannot see any physical damage to the board. All caps look OK.

It shows no picture and POST stops with code 2F/2E regardless whether or not any graphic card is plugged in. If memory is removed, it stops on previous code 28/17 and stars beeping. I tested both CPUs in another machine and I also use RAM from another machine.

When I recorded video of POST card and played it in slow...

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
      by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Philips TV 43pus7505 setting display option code, help please.
      by eurgenca
      Hello.
I am dealing with a Philips TV, 43pus7505 and is stuck on boot loop.
So I ordered a used CPU board, and now I have wired picture.
I think the problem lies in display option code. According to SM, the command for setting
display code is 062598 + MENU + 032 (032 is written on a label on back of a TV).
But as soon I press the menu button TV jumps in menu. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong,
or can I manually edit option code in SAM.
