Which of these two caps would you use?

I'm recapping a Shuttle XPC motherboard, and stumbled across a "which way would you do it" question.

Near the PCI/AGP slots there are several caps. What's in there now are a G-Luxon LZ 1000 uF 10V 8x15 cap. There are 3 caps on the "business" side of the slots, 1 3cm out on the PCI, and two behind the PCI slot (on the non-business side of the card).

I have two different caps I can put in the three trouble spots:
Nichicon HZ 1000/10 in an 8x20
Nichicon HN 820/6.3 in an 8x11.5

The 20mm height of the HZ will stick up above the AGP/PCI slots a tiny bit. My current AGP card will work fine, but I can't guarantee future compatibility with everything. If I drop to the HN, I'm cutting the voltage down and a bit on the capacitance, but the 11.5mm height easily allows anything in the future to fit.

I'm planning on putting the short HNs in, since the HN is going to be a FAR superior cap to the G-Luxon, and I know everything will always fit in the future. Even though the current cap voltage is 10V, what's on the board can't be more than 5V, and could be 3.3V. Just my luck the NEXT card I'd try to fit would bump up against a cap!

    What would *you* do?

    LZ 1000uF/10v/8mm - Ripple:1050 ESR:.069
Data sheet shows 8x20mm in 1000uF/10v so if your are 8x15mm they are custom and would be rated quite as good as a 20mm part.

    HN is an upgrade.
    HZ is over-kill.

    HN 820/6.3/8mm - Ripple:1300 ESR:.021
The much lower ESR will help compensate for the slightly lower uF.

Make sure date code on HN is 2005 or after.
Those made between 2001 and 2004 were defective.
    [Dunno exact dates, just years.]
    Code like H0344 would be 44th week of 2003. - H"03"44

I finished up the job yesterday, and its all assembled and working just fine. I used the HNs around the slots to maintain future compatibility, since I will probably sell this machine at some point and don't want any future owner to have an unplanned headache. I've attached two pics, one with the original 15mm G-Luxons, and one with my repair. Hopefully the pics are clear enough. And, yes, HZs and HNs are total overkill for this board, but if you're gonna do it, do it right!!! Oh yeah, and the date code on the HNs was 0833, so they're definitely fine.

As a side note, lots of people have had problems keeping the SK43G stable at 166 MHz FSB and needed to drop it to 133 MHz. It turns out that there was too much compound on the northbridge heatsink. I just cleaned it all out, applied a thin layer of AS5, reassembled, and that totally fixed that problem. I fixed that ages ago. Mine was totally unstable at 166, mostly stable at 133. I fixed the NB HSF, and its been running at 166 for a long time now.

        Hmm,
        Too much T-compound on chipset.
Never really thought about that but it makes sense.

        Oh, and - Congrats!

iirc newer hn/hm caps were black jackets with white or gray print.
i thought they dumped that copper/gold look a long time back?
and the heatsinking on north and south on a friends unit was a problem too.
a better hsf on the northbridge and a heatsink thermal epoxied to the southbridge made this box 100%stable.
          even overclocked.
of course a full recap of the board and psu was done too.
the only thing that could improve it any more would be an xp 3200+ cpu.
