It's on the site in the "Solid caps" section, but it has been marked as unidentified.

        Re: Trying identify Capacitor manufacturer

from MSI i finally got answer that manufacturer of these red Solid Capacitors with TK logo is

        TOSHIN KOGYO CO.LTD

and the quality of the SC should be equal or better to N/U Chemi-Con

so if You have way to share this info with owner of that nice capacitor.web.fc2.com website please do ...

cap.web have toshin, oinly it's sign is tk
          http://capacitor.web.fc2.com/solidcapacitor.html#toshin

why they stopped using chemicon; probably because this is cheaper(?)

          this is also fishy.

              Re: Trying identify Capacitor manufacturer

Japan Toshin authorized Taiwan Ost to use its brand but the logo is different from Toshin's "TK" brand. Japan Toshin may not be responsible for any liability issues to these capacitors.
So, this logo is dedicated to this special project for Taiwan Ost.
These polymer capacitors are not made by neither Toshin nor Taiwan Ost.
Taiwan Ost placed private-label orders to a non-Japanese or non-Taiwanese company which factory is located in China.
              Very complicated...

so it's not as good due to indirect control of the QC?

                Cheers, Wizard

                  Re: Trying identify Capacitor manufacturer

I have a few Aluminum Electrolytic Caps, 'VS' is stamped on them. Anyone know where to find them? It's out of a Dynex LCD TV, on it's video mainboard.

Also.. I found that you can buy caps from these guys; here too.. never bought from them though.. www.sourceresearch.com
And I just found this one: www.futureelectronics.com
                  And this one: http://showcase.inkfrog.com/jamestrieu

I've looked everywhere but can't find the VS Series aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Data Sheet or where to buy them.. Anyone know where to look?

Oh yeah.. check this out: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/print...Capacitors/595

                    Re: Trying identify Capacitor manufacturer

The 470uF 10v and 16v could be Chang VS series (datasheet in link).

The ones marked UTP.. I'm puzzled as well.
