Please help identify bad cap on ATI Radeon X300 SE Video Card

I had a problem with my graphics card which ended up in the trash. I stumbled on to this site then fished the card out of the trash and noticed the popped cap.

The problem is that I'm unsure what cap to buy as a replacement. I've attached a photo which shows a silver cap with the following printed on the top:

    FZ65
    1000
    16V

I'm assuming this is a 1000uF/16V cap, but I'm not sure of the type or whether FZ65 means anything important.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Note: Sorry for the blurry pic. The camera on my phone isn't too good.

Thank you for the prompt response. I've found these:

      http://uk.farnell.com/1219463/passiv...equestid=66915

But they are 20mm in height. As it's a video card, I need one that is equal to or smaller than 16mm in height.

Do you know of any which would be suitable?

As I can't seem to find a panasonic FM that is less than 20mm in height. I've found the following:

        http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/s...duct&R=3654098

Which is a Panasonic ECA1CHG102, would this be OK?

The NHG series can work, but I don't think they're low ESR caps that are recommended for use in video cards and motherboards.

This is from my son’s gaming computer that at first had minor overheating issues when playing a very intense game with it causing the computer to crash or reboot

Then bough a new motherboard and a new computer case that a cooling system in it already installed also brought the cooling system for this video card but now the issue with it is that it randomly rebooted screen goes blank randomly and suddenly video freezing or started with video being there then blank screen and then the video comes back or it just stays blank for a while and then maybe it will come back but it...

Old Sony VAIO da0hk5mb SVE1512E1E disable Radeon video card
            by bbenalmadena
I have a Sony VAIO SVE1512E1E (motherboard da0hk5mb) video card is broken, has artifacts, I want to disable it, the processor is an I3-3110M that supposedly has an integrated Intel GPU and I want to disable the onboard Radeon so that can be used.

I download some schematics, and tried to remove VPL1, but then the laptop starts some leds, and shut off. Should I try to lift VPL1 and VPR47 and pass a cable to one tip of VPR47 and the other back to VPU1 to see if that works or it is pointless?
That seems to be some feedback to VPU1 and I guess if it does not detect voltage, laptop...

The issue with this video card is the HDMI port. Specifically on pin 19 (Diode checks on all other pins are normal). When i do a diode check on it from the pin on the board itself, I have nothing. There is also no short on the pin. Resistance reads about 200k. Normally on any HDMI pin 19 I would expect some voltage drop anywhere from .5v to 1.2v but here, I have nothing. The card is operational and can be used via the displayPort ports, but not through the HDMI. Attached you will find the pdf schematics for the card on page 22. I have verified that all of the resistors on this line before the...

            AMD Radeon R9 290 / R9 380 / R9 390

The Radeon R9 290 was a high-end graphics card by AMD, launched on November 5th, 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Hawaii graphics processor, in its Hawaii PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon R9 290. The Hawaii graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 438 mm² and 6,200 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon R9 290X, which uses the same GPU but has all 2816 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon R9 290 to reach the...
