2 Seconds to black monitor problem, Replacement cap help

Hi all, My dell monitor SP2208WFP was having intermittent issues where after being turned on, it would show the image then turn into a black screen 2 seconds later with the power light being the same. I could unplug all cords but power and it would do the same. Switching imputs would reset the 2 second timer, but then it would go back again always after 2 seconds.

I google'd and it brought me to this very helpful website. I learned about a lot of useful things already. I opened up my monitor and found that (3) Capxon 330 p746 kf 105c capacitors were bulging on top on the board with the main power. This is my first time ever opening one up. They appear to be 9.6m by 17.8mm, so i assume they are 10mm/16mm. Upon looking at a chart found here, I found these Panasonic FM 330uF 35v 105c 10/16mm's. I noticed capxon was on the bad caps list, and panasonic is on the good caps list. I found 4 of them for $5.

I just wanted to ask and see if these would work, and also is that probably the problem? I've never done any of this stuff before but i'm a huge DIY guy and willing to learn just about anything. Have pictures if necessary. Thanks

Is that probably the problem: I will almost garuntee you that it is.

Will they work: You don't list the voltage of the capxons, but assuming it is equal to or less than 35V, yes.

    Go for it.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
        by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

HANNSG Hi221 -- 2 secs to black feat. CCFL flicker & "burn" marks on power board
        by ttmi100x
        Greetings everyone,

I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...

The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.

        Upon closer inspection...

        AOC AG493UCX 49-inch monitor - Firmware request
        by wattage
        Hello Badcaps Community,

I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.

The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...

LG 23MP55HQ LED Monitor turns off after a few seconds or flickers.
        by Rick_1234
        Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.
