Post fake brand name capacitors here...

If you see any fake brand name capacitors, please post them here, and say where they came from as well.

I found some fake Rubycon USP (105C rating - a genuine USP should have an 85C rating) in a Tenma 72-10495 (Korad 3005D-2S rebadge) dual variable power supply.

Update to the vent styles on the first post: they also included Panasonic, Partsnic/Daewoo, and Rubycon.

Would be good if people could put whether or not the cap was still in spec!

After updating motherboard capacitors, what to do next (Asrock K7VT2, SOLTEK SL-75FRN2L)
          by dragon3x
Hi, I have some 32 bits computer motherboards that need repair, as they fail to
          power on.

          Here are some examples :

(N.B. "capacitors" indicated here are electrolytic capacitors located in the onboard
          switching supply area).
          (N.B. #2 : I could not find a 3300 microF aluminum-polymer with a higher voltage
          than 6.3 V.)

1 - Motherboard #1 : this is an Asrock K7VT2 (socket A) that still works well. To put it on test
          I replaced capacitors with aluminum-polymer.
          3300 microF/6.3 V. x 4 replaced by 3300 microF/6.3 V. (KYOCERA...

RCA WHP141 wireless headphones wired up
          by momaka
OK, this one dates back to 2015! I thought I had posted this, but realized I didn’t when I posted a picture of something else. So here it goes…

Back in 2015, I bought a pair of RCA WHP141 wireless headphones at Micro Center for $2. I even mentioned it in the best cheap/free scores thread right here. Just forgot to follow up with that.

As mentioned back then, these are (were) 900 MHz FM wireless headphones. No modern day Blutooth or anything like that. I knew they wouldn’t be great headphones or even that good… but the price was right! So let’s take...

BEST 505 Vs Mechanic Brand Reballing Balls with Lead
          by Stanley1843
          Hello,
has anyone use these Brands of solder balls? The brand BEST writes on the label of the jar the specs of the solder balls instead of the Mechanic brand. I beleive that BEST brand must be more professional (in labeling at least) but I have never try one of them so I would like your opinion. By the way I hardly can I find the Mechanic brand in aliexpress (the only where I found was lead free solder balls) and on ebay these that I found are approximately15USD per jar. If you know any other trusted brand of solder balls please tell me.
