Just a few questions without getting into much info. My computer keeps restarting itself when it loads normally (Windows ME). But in F1 bios setup utility, it stays running (approx 45 minutes) without a restart. CPU and System temps in bios setup are 35-45C. Shutdown temp is 75C. I pulled the case off an noticed a few buldging caps. I booted normal with a floor fan blowing into the computer, to no avail, kept restarting (improper shutdown). PSU fan had gone out and I replaced it but I still have the restart problem. It could be just me but this happened about the same time that I installed a daylight savings patch for Windows ME from the internet, maybe nothing. Help thanks, SY

Motherboard PU551LA Ver 2 with Intel i5 4210U
I bought the motherboard as faulty to replace a similar one not repairable because it was completely shorted.
3V EC was shorted to ground because of EC chip. IT8585E FXA replaced with IT8585E FXS. Motherboard now works and I am able to recharge the battery, install Windows and update BIOS from Ver 207 to 210 with EZ Flash, but it has the following problem: Every time I power off the laptop with power switch or with Windows shutdown the laptop apparently turns off, but the power LED remains on and it's not possible to restart the laptop.... -

I got macbook pro A1989 that has sleep wake failure..always restart when put in sleep mode or close the lid..if i shut down and close the lid there would be no problem at all.. already reinstall the mac os but still has the same problem even restore with DFU mode.
and for macbook pro A1707, this one always restart when i try to shut down..always restart when put in sleep mode.

I have an issue with laptop dell latitude e5490 that auto restart when arrive at certain point in loading windows.
Board model is dm70 la-f401p rev:1.0 2017-09-20.
At first, the issue is sometime ssd sata 2.5 not detected. i already try another cable, at certain point, it ok using old cable (i mean sata cable here).
After a few days test, is seems ok.
Days later, another issue come, that is auto restart when certain point in loading windows. i already test another ssd, another ram, another sata ribbon, still same.... -
This one's a weird one, and still unsolved despite it having gone back to Dell once.

i7-8750H, GTX 1060 Max Q, 500GB SSD & Seagate 7mm 1TB HDD. 17.3 IPS screen. This has the fingerprint reader in the power button.
Backstory
I bought this from eBay, from a wallpapering shop. £650 in 2020 which was a good price considering it's a gaming laptop. Physically it's in perfect shape, apart from the hinge mounts on the palmrest failing in the time I've had it (I have a new palmrest for it). I own a Lenovo ideapad v310-15IKB with an i5 7th generation with only Intel graphics configuration.
Now the heart of the problem is that I don't know when or how it happened but I suddenly started getting distortion in the graphics output on the LCD. This basically meant a black screen full of flickering multicolored short horizontal lines. This would happen 30-60 minutes after booting and using it normally.
I run Windows 10 20H build so I thought it was just a Windows update issue or graphics driver outdated issue.
