Caps for Samsung LN-T4065F Power Supply

I've pulled 7 bulging and or leaking caps from the power supply of my TV and need some direction on locating replacements. I have several with the same voltage and micro fared rating but different sizes. Thanks for any help pointing me in the right direction

    They are labeled as follows:

    WB 25V 1000uF V2A pet
    WB 25V 1000uf U9E
    WB 10V 1000uF V2A (four of these)
    RD 25V 220uF U7C

    Oh...Samwah is the Manufacturer.

    Just found this thread...

    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12922

So I now understand the WB and the RD are the Series.

Where to buy? Are they available here?

You don't want to buy Samwha capacitors, they're not of good quality. You probably wouldn't find WB series anyway, I think it's discontinued.

You buy capacitors with same or better technical characteristics from a better capacitor manufacturer.

Panasonic FM or FR will work just fine instead of both WB and RD.

You can find those on Digikey.com or Mouser.com or Newark.com ... check the badcaps.net store as well. I'm only going to give links for newark and digikey

Awesome! Thanks for the reply. I was struggling with the series info. I also measured them all.

        I have 1000uf 25v that are 12.5 x 20 and 10 x 20 the 10000uF 10v are 10 x 16 and the 220uF 25v is 8 x 12.

        Thanks again for your help.

Use /store instead of /forum in browser URL to visit store.

These Rubycon capacitors at Badcaps.net store probably suit for your purpose, you can check/choose yourself by studying datasheets (use google).

          1000uF 25v 10mm ZLJ Series
          220uF 25v 8mm ZLG Series

You can use 25v caps instead of 10v caps, if they are not too big physically.

My TV is working! I would never have tried to fixed it myself without the information from this site. Searching the forum I found information detailing similar problems along with pics and info posted by Budm. I purchased the Panasonic caps recommended by mariushm and installed them. In a couple of hours and $10 later it works perfectly!

Thanks for all the time you guys give!

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

              Heathkit IO-4205 Power Supply Caps
              by eryjus
              Hello,

First, I am a complete noob with high voltage stuff. I'm learning, but I need help by someone looking over my shoulder.

I recently came into posession of a Heathkit IO-4205 5MHz Dual Trace Oscilloscope. The documentation is copyright 1978. I'm told it works.

I opened it up to check the caps before I applied power, and found the following black caps and wanted to know what they were. They are on the power supply board. I was able to read the name and model and came up with, "Nytronics 162J-1, 0.1uF, 20% tolerance, 2000VDC."

Help with switching power supply caps
              by captain150
I'm trying to repair two old VCRs, they both have bad caps. One has leaky ones, the other would barely run until I subbed in some caps from another power supply I had laying around (though they are the wrong values). This vcr works for an hour or two, but then the power supply starts whining and the picture gets lines in it. I didn't replace all the secondary caps, so another voltage might still be problematic, or the values I used are too far off.
I've been on mouser and digikey but the options are a bit overwhelming. I just need some new ones that will work. They don't need to be top quality,...

Samsung BN44-00262A H37F1-9SS power supply help finding blown value components!
              by cheeky2
This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets...
