I got this PC Chips M805LR board some time ago. The caps were probably bad so someone replaced them with 3300uF Jamicons - but not all of them. I was said that the board is unstable - and it was when I tested it. As I didn't have suitable caps, I put the board aside. One of the remaining G-Luxon caps was very slightly bulged on top. Lookin at the board from time to time, the cap was bulged more and more. And today I see it's leaking. The board was just laying disconnected...

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
