The title is the question. What are the ratings on all the caps on the power board of a Samsung 2333SW? I want to have all the replacements in my possession before I open my monitor. Thank you.

Re: Cap specs (all) for Samsung 2333SW power board
There is no way to tell. Even if somebody else found the cap ratings for a 2333SW, there are tons of small variations in board revision, etc...
You've got to open it up and read the capacitors, there is no other way. -
Re: Cap specs (all) for Samsung 2333SW power board
That's true.
It's not uncommon for the same make/model of screen to use several different power boards over it's production run.
.
I have a Viewsonic I need to open up and I already know this model used at least two different power boards after researching problems specific to the model.

I can only suggest searching ebay for "samsung model ### power board" :
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...All-Categories
Look at the pictures, that MAY give you an idea about the values of capacitors but as it was already said, you have no guarantee your board will have the same design or even the same capacitor brand (some are Chinese clones of the original power boards).
I guess you're living somewhere remote or where there aren't retail stores so you're hoping to order parts before you open up the monitor or something like that... well you may go this route but it's a gamble.Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by NicktronicHey everyone,
This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.

by Dani_2024Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO
Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...5 Photos -
by repair-itI am attempting to test a samsung power supply board to verify the pfc ic is working. I am powering up the board with my isolation transformer. The board turns on fine but when I attempt to connect the ground for the scope probe, it trips out the isolator. I was taught not to 'float my scope' so I am wondering if I should test without connecting the ground lead or would that be asking for trouble? Not sure how else to test, I don't have a portable scope. I could plug direct to mains power but that would bypass the safety factor.
