Identification request (ST caps?!) and specs request

I get my hands on another DFI LP B mobo, this time not made in China, but Taiwan and it use (with great troubles leading to unstability) Teapo caps. Now I looked at the Teapo webside, found some general PDF, but still can't find any way to identify the cap (and mainly get it's specs, witch interest me most) I see on the mobo. On the cap are writen:

    Teapo 1000uF 10V 12/02 A3 SEK 105°C

Witch is, according to the side a General purpose 105°C 1000h (only!) cap.
General purpose cap for fildering voltage for dimms?! You gota be kidding me!!!

Still looking for exact specs, might find them, there is wanted some URI plugin, oh, sh*t...

Another cap I need identify is on the same place in China mobo.
    On the cap is writen:

    ST 1000uF 10V RLG O352 105°C

The ST words are in sort of logo made, looking like this:

That would be an OST cap

Ah, there are the SEK specs!

        Teapo 1000uF 10V 12/02 A3 SEK 105°C - impedance 6 - ripple current 400 (1000 hours) 8x15

Not too bad for general purpose, but use these cap for filtering Vdimm voltage?! Insane at best!

The OST then (if they are OST) are a bit weird, since I can't find a RLF cap with the dimentions the ones I see on my board has - 8x15mm and 1000uF for 10V. Weird. The most closest one have this specs:
        OST 1000uF 10V RLG O352 105°C - impedance 0.18 - ripple current 615 (2000 hours) 10x16 (8x15 they are!)
        Rest check there:

...however it is also marked as bad cap...!

Now this is ironic or something...

Re: Identification request (ST caps?!) and specs request

to put ost in perspective, i have some 815 boards with ost RLP around the board, still ok after many years. but the ost RLZ on vcore i have seen to blow in 1 year, they also make fizz sound when you heat them for removal (something i have not seen in other caps)

several psu manufacturer are using ost now, teapo are becoming less popular. both are in the badcaps YMMV category rather than the badcaps pure category like GSC etc. need to measure capacitance and esr to make decision.

Re: Identification request (ST caps?!) and specs request

Well, the question is - since only way to measure them is to pull them out of the mobo - why not solder back better caps instead "just to be sure"?

And yep, I understand that they could be good. Could be. But they also could be pretty bad... No way to know from look, I'm affraid.

And measure capacitance and ESR? I wish, but... what to use for that?
My multimeter end up at 200uF. Don't know any others that go notably higher.
And ESR? There I'm completely unaware how to measure this.

Well, I know how to measure, I just did not know and thing that will do the job and charge the cap and then measure how much "kick" it can produce trough likely very small resistance and judge the ESR from it then...

I heard something about "popular ESR measuring tool", but that it was. More could you cast more light on that, please?

esr you measure with this https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1287

i am still looking for nice cheap capacitance measurement tool

              that is always best method

                Hello everyone!
I hope this is the right section for this request. I'm looking for help to modify the boot logo on my ThinkPad T14 Gen 1.

                Hi folks,

I have a couple of IBM NetVista desktop computers from around 2000-2001. They have Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) Pro286i motherboards, 733MHz Pentium III processors, and a whole bunch of bad Teapo capacitors. One board has visibly bad and venting capacitors, while the other doesn't look too bad so far.

The board with venting caps works fine, while the good looking board occasionally refuses to power on unless it's left for about 30 seconds after connecting the power - even with a known good power supply. (I am however aware I'll need to check the PSU...

ASUS GTX 1650 Gpu.Initialize Interrupt request line stuck asserted
                by mindoverflow
                hello,

there is an asus gtx1650 which displays fine in windows but if i run a benchmark test it displays artifacts and the driver crashes after a second or two.

I changed pads and thermal paste.

I run mats test but it is reporting 0 errors.

I then tried to run the mods version 400.271_1650 test, it first ran and stopped with a 'breakpoints limit reached after 5 retries' error and the fans went full speed.

After a reboot, I tried to run the test again, but now the test fails and says "ERROR: Couldn't clear GPU's interrupt...
