Nichicons appear widely on the new Intel 945, 975 boards.
Another series has been introduced on these boards.
It seems that the usual HM series has been replaced by the HD series near the CPU area on this board.

Although it may be early, I was wondering if anyone has seen Nichicon failures on more recent boards yet.
Have the stockpiles of the supposedly defective manufacturing run for the HM/HN series been exhausted?
Has the issue died a natural death or does the problem still persist on more recent boards?
Any prognostications?
