I cannot find a source for MCZ series 3300uF 6.3V. These are the only quality caps that will fit my motherboard i.e 10 mm diameter.

I have spent a considerable time searching the world for the MCZ caps. There is a stockist in Germany who has about 20,000+ of the 3300u 6.3V version.
Having encountered so much difficulty it started me on a re-think. I was going to replace 6 x 3300u TEAPO caps in the CPU supply filter because of bad press about TEAPO. However the caps are black and gold (this seems to signify higher quality than the usual green and gold caps) they show no sign of problem and the system works fine. So why bother? Together they represent 20,000uF and six ESR paths to reduce the effective ESR. I suspect that a capacitance of that size is very adequate (probably a very conservative design) when considering the FET switches will deliver switching gaps of a few tens of nano seconds and aided by the switching chokes to maintain energy flow.
So in summary why change. Also checking the latest TEAPO products it would seem that they are greatly improved.
The MCZ caps are very good but may be an expensive over kill.
What do you guys think?

I have a couple of IBM NetVista desktop computers from around 2000-2001. They have Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) Pro286i motherboards, 733MHz Pentium III processors, and a whole bunch of bad Teapo capacitors. One board has visibly bad and venting capacitors, while the other doesn't look too bad so far.
The board with venting caps works fine, while the good looking board occasionally refuses to power on unless it's left for about 30 seconds after connecting the power - even with a known good power supply. (I am however aware I'll need to check the PSU... -

hey all, iv got my favourite battery charger here which iv had for many years probably 15 years now or maybe even more. it still works good but thought id open it up to clean the dust out of it, lots of dust inside but now its clean and noticed 4 capacitors inside it and wondered if i should replace them.
it has inside:
2 x 47uf 16v caps 105c branded as Su'scon (lol sounds sus to me)
2 x 470uf 16v LZ105c branded as G.Luxon
not heard of these brands are they any good?

Hi All, So I have two Genelec 8020Cs that are about 10 years old, one of them stopped switching on. I took it apart, fuse was blown, and I've traced the short to one of the two large capacitors on the circuit board.
Now from looking at the Capacitors, they seem to be from Samwha's SD Series with the following specs: 3300uf, 35v, 85C, 25 x 16 mm Radial.
The problem is, I can't find any capacitor from Samwha's SD Datasheet that matches these specs. The closest is 3300uf, 35v, 85c but 31.5 x 16mm, with a max ripple current of 2.5A. I'm guessing the 25mm is custom made for... -
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow
This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board
