    Mixing Panasonic FC/FM/FR ?

    Hi all

Just a quick and possibly stupid question:

I'm re-capping a monitor power supply and I can't get all the values I need in just one of these series - is there any reason I shouldn't mix them?

    Thanks

No and it's ok to mix different makes too.

No - we often say to do that - you often cant get all values in all series and cant get
all physical sizes in all series. so often do say use FR FM and FC in that order.
Best to worse ( but still very good. If you still cant find what you need try Rubycon

dont forget FK, they are important because they are the smaller ones.

if you can go all FR & FK you get the longest life.

I thought that was probably the case - thanks for the reassurance!

FM is superior in every way to FK. So only use FK if you need a small diameter that doesn't exist in FM/FR, because it is usually significantly more expensive.

They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."
