2Sec to black repeat issues

Hi guys,

Just to preface this, I've read and followed the sticky guide on this.

I've got a samsung Syncmaster 2443BW, and it had the 2 sec to black issue. I replaced most of the caps, and it worked fr about 2 and a half hours before reverting back to 2 sec to black.
Anyone know why this happens, and if there is a fix for it?
The fact it was working then stopped again leads me to believe it wasn't the caps.
I can take other photos if need be.

the three most likely areas are the Inverter transformer,one or more of the 6 large Black diodes,and more probably the failure of one or more of the Backlights/Backlight wiring.

start by resoldering the invertor transformers.

Which ones are those? I'm pretty new to all this stuff, but thanks for the help

The one with TM-09176 printed on top. So you did not replace all the caps, especially the ones for the inverter circuits two close to the inverter transformer. You should at least check the capacitance and the ESR to eliminate the possibility, it is always better to replace the cap as set.
You can also have bad connection on the lamps ends inside the LCD panel.

I replaced the two just above the TM-09176, to check the capacitance and ESR can I use a multimeter?

You need ESR meter to check ESR, Capacitance meter to check capacitance, or you can buy meter that can do both.

BTW, we need the pictures of the bottom side of the board so we can show you where to test the inverter transformer winding resistances.

Can anyone of you tell me the correct resistance values for the TM-09176 Inverter?

My samsung Syncmaster 2443BW also switches off after 2sec. Shining light on it you can still see the image on the screen.
The Elkos look good and I measured the resistance of the TM-09176. The two secondary coils both got 1100 Ohm and the primary got only 0.2 Ohm which seems too little for me.
