Having trouble nailing down the issue on this. I'm pretty sure it's the inverter board but want to be sure. Voltages from the power supply to the inverter board are all good (24v, 5 and 3) and stable even after the backlight goes out. I can't find the service manual. Only thing I found was the SMART troubleshooting guide.
All backlights appear to turn on. Is there something else I can check on the inverter board to be sure there isn't any other issue?

Hello badcaps community! I am new to the forum but I hope I can become apart of it in time. So I am semi-new to electronics like this. I am tradesman so I have some good fundamental hands on skills but I need your help. I have a Toshiba as per the previous mentioned title that I believe has a power supply problem. I had a power surge in my home recently and this TV was left out of the unplugging party. I have removed the back and it reviled a blown fuse at the AC input on the power supply. I replaced the fuse but when I reattach the 110 cord, even before turning the power switch, the fuse blows,... -
I'm having a hard time getting started trouble shooting this TV. When I got it, it would turn on (I get green light and backlight) but I got no picture or any sound. I just got some vertical greenish lines on the left side of the screen. I took the panel apart and touched the flex cables connected and there was no change. I switched inputs and no change or sound. So I guessed it was the main board. So I found a mainboard on ebay, installed it, and the exact same behavior as before. I was sure it was the main board because I got NO respose from volume, input, menu, nothing. But it's still doing... -
Toshiba 32av502r shuts off comes back on intermittent, Will stay on with no signal applied. After I ruled out all the common problems like caps, connections,I found out the 5v standby was shutting down its a(viper27l)ic I disabled the chips brown out circuit, pin 5 and disabled the chips over voltage/current circuit,pin3
This is only approx, A 10watt 5volt standby driver ic. Some of the smd resistors
and or zeners have changed value in those protection circuits causing the chip to shut down This is my set now I might leave it this way and hang it in my garage...... -

Issue: Picked this tv up for 15$ worked one day and next didn't or so i was told
Symptoms: When Fully Powered down and turned back on Power comes on, very top of the screen tries to light up very very very quick and dim green light is flashing on the TV and doesn't stop flashing.
All voltages are outta whack hear noises coming from the power board here where i have a video to help.
163.8 coming off the main cap when powered on however.
