Thank you very much, I think the problem is something else in the motherboard, as the flash of BIOS didn't change much.

Hello. I'm not very good at English, so I'm using a translator to ask my question. I currently have a LEGION5 PRO 16ACH6H (LEGION5P-82JQ). One day, the power button started working, but the keyboard light didn't turn on, and the system wouldn't boot properly. When the keyboard light came on, it booted properly. I thought there was a problem with the BIOS, so I purchased a ROMWrite CH314A and tried to get it to work. I backed up the information, but it didn't work properly with the data I obtained from there. Is there a way to get the BIOS?

The existing BIOS is gkcn65ww, and 20250807.ZIP is the version I backed up from my device. The JQ below is the version found here.
I'm trying to upgrade to the more stable GKCN60WW version, even though it's a lower version.
But I couldn't find the BIN for version 65...

I need your help.

I think the macro you created automatically saved the data after comparing it to the newBIOS file.

I'll have to try putting it on my laptop.

Based on the information you sent, the BIOS seems to be functioning normally.

However, I recently learned that there may have been a BIOS issue as well.

Actually, it seems to be a cold soldering issue in the CPU or somewhere else.

Sometimes the power turns on properly, but then it doesn't.

It seems to work about once out of ten times.

I think it's the "black screen not working" issue that's been trending on Reddit. I understand this symptom is something like a cold soldering issue in the CPU.

Hi all,

I acquired a 16ach6h from a friend who was getting rid, and while the power button illuminates none of the fans etc spin up. I've attached a backup of the bios here, and tried to write a 'fixed' version from another of the threads on Badcaps - but keep getting the error 'file too large for IC' in Asprogrammer, neoprogrammer etc. Would anyone be able to help? I've tried following guides to shorten the .BIN file, but the backup comes to 2048KB and the downloaded one works out at 16384KB. I think the backup is messed up, but in any case I'd appreciate some advice!
