My Samsung Odyssey NP850XBC-XG1BR with motherboard BA41-02721A REV 1.1 has a corrupted ENE KB9028Q EC. The laptop only lights the power LED, no fans, no keyboard response, no boot. I would like the good EC BIOS dump (.bin) file for this model.

hey guys,

i bought 2 samsung odyssey g9's for a decent price. they both have the exact same fault. when plugged into a power source, the blue led powerlight shows, but when turned on there is no picture, no backlight, no menu, nothing. when plugged into a laptop the laptop recognises the monitor, but keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.

dont have any schematics or diagrams unfortunately. any ideas?

Hello everyone, I'm stuck with the aformentioned gaming monitor.

PSU: BN4400976A
MB: BN41-02699A

Symptom: NO sign of life. No power led, no backlight or display.
Diagnostics:
- PSU outputs 12V volt when connectred to MB. PS ON is 7V when disconnected, goes .40V when connected to MB.
- EN signal stays low on 12V buck converter IC so 0V on output when EN pin is connected, all other power rails looks okay.
- Bypassing EN signal by floating EN pin on 12V buck converter results in 12V on output, however still no lifesign.
- T-CON looks okay,...

Firstly I am not a tech. You guys may see mistakes or oversights in my methods so don't be bashful and feel free to post corrections/opinions.

=>Background:
I bought my son a used Xbox One original model: A12-220N1A Rev: 02 with original PSU & 2 controllers 7 years ago. I “modded” the unit placing a 4.5” 12V exhaust fan with a 9v wall wart adapter on top of the vent/fan of the unit. And plugged the Xbox PSU into a Tripplite LTR-600 voltage regulator. Also connected to the Tripplite are a 275w computer tower, an Xbox 360 PSU and a Westinghouse 52” LED TV. ...

Hello, everyone. Samsung Odyssey laptop. Working fine until last night. Today it randomly black screens during use (LCD backlight still on) and fans stop spinning (sometimes they start spinning again). It happens on Windows, on Linux live environment, even on "no boot devices" screen when I boot without any disk. Happens with or without battery connected. With or without AC adapter connected. With or without keyboard, touchpad and other stuff disconnected. Really random. Any clue?
I was able to memtest it. No issues reported. Also, tried other RAM sticks, alternating RAM slots....

No. When the screen goes black (sometimes backlight on, sometimes off) I cannot do anything.
It also happens on BIOS screen or Linux live diks.

If it is the dedicated GPU, someone may have details on how to disable it. Personally do not have the experience.

Boot into safe mode with networking -> does the unit run ok (VGA mode) ? Test with youtube videos running overnight or similar stress test.

Also, when the screen goes dark, do you still have audio / video streaming (without a display) playing like normal?
