I would like to ask for your assistance. I'm still encountering an issue with my Lenovo Flex 5-14ARE05 Laptop (Ideapad, Type 81X2, Serial: R90YSZF1, MTM: 81X2003HPHI). The problem began after I attempted to update the BIOS by double-clicking the EECN44WW.exe file downloaded from the Lenovo website. I also installed chipset drivers and other system drivers.

After the BIOS update, the laptop rebooted but now only shows a black screen. There is no POST, no display (not even on an external monitor), and the battery indicator does not show charging....

My Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC05 turned into sleep mode and the next morning only the ESC and Caps are lighting up and i have black screen. I can change the Keyboard Backlight and the Fan is running. I'm trying to fix a roommate's friend's Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC05 that got bricked through Lenovo Vantage. The screen simply stays black and the Esc and Capslock LEDs are lighting up.
