Hi. I need some help. I got a HP probook 440 G5 notebook for repair. The windows made a bios update, the it didn't start, just black screen. I tried to reflash the bios with an external eeprom writer, but no success. I tried the factory provided Q85 bios, all the bios i found on this site, i also tried to flash the 430 g5 bios too. Please help what else should i try.

Hello, I tried using RCUnlocker from post #1. I modified the backup .bin of the Winbond 16MB chip, then wrote the generated unlock.bin back to the Winbond 16MB chip.
However, the BIOS password still appears. Please also help me unlock the password of the laptop.

Great post helped me a lot. I tried U85 for 440 G9 and it's working perfectly. Thanks mate, I appreciate that. Please create similar bios for HP ProBook 430 G8 T70 version with the new EC. A lot of people are having bios issues with that model. Thanks again...

Hi, i have question will I be able to unlock BIOS on Hp Probook 430 G6 with CH341A EEPROM Programmer + SOP8?

I bought a backlit keyboard to replace the original non-backlit one on my HP 430 G8. It has the connector on board, but the backlight doesn’t work. I already installed HP Hotkey Support and checked the BIOS, but still no luck. Could it be disabled by default, or am I missing something?
