Your thread title is a little bit misleading.

This press release is just touting ATI's workstation-class card performance with 3d/wireframe applications.

Intel DQ965GF — Need latest BIOS for Core 2 Quad upgrade
      by Artem2009-16
      Hello everyone,

I’m currently working with an Intel DQ965GF motherboard and would like to upgrade the CPU.

However, I can’t find the latest BIOS version or a working download link for it — the official Intel website no longer provides this file.

Could someone please share a copy of the latest BIOS update (preferably the final release version)?

My goal is to upgrade the processor from a Core 2 Duo E6700 to a Core 2 Quad Q6700, so I’d like to make sure the BIOS fully supports...

      Intro:
While troubleshooting a Mac Pro(6,1) referenced above I discovered the +5v secondary supply did not stand up on the D500-B graphics card as a result of a missing enable signal. The +3.3v secondary rail was the only rail that did standup. I tried to perform...

Trying to control Philips backlight manually with PWM — brightness increases with frequency...?
      by ohren
I raised the question of whether PWM on the power board "dim" pin would be a reasonable assumption for controlling the backlight of a Philips TV (55put6101/12): https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...d-tv-backlight. I didn't receive any insights there so I went ahead and tried it.

      The setup is basically:

      Rpi3 hardware PWM → 220 Ohm → NPN transistor → dim pin

Transistor is switching the 3.5 V supply on the power board....

      Support for Samsung NP300E7A
      by Toncino
      Hi all,
I need to update the BIOS of the NP300E7A Samsung laptop, but I can't do that under Windows 10:

      - Installing the Samsung Update application from Store does not work (the application will just remain stuck).

      - With BIOSUpdate.exe I could download the latest verision of the BIOS ("ITEM_20130312_816_WIN_09QA.exe"), but when I try to flash it, I get a blue screen. I did try to run the application in compatibility mode, but no luck.

I have the feeling that the issue is related to Windows 10, so I was wondering if there is any DOS application...

Lenovo Golden Key V3.5.60 - DMI EDITOR (BOOTABLE USB)
      by hypermk735
Sharing the latest version of Lenovo Golden Key I found to change DMI information such as serial number, MTM, UUID. Run the U1 application and create a bootable USB. It may show an older version upon making the usb. Restart the program and it will update the USB to the next version available. For some reason the updater program does not upgrade all the way to the newest version, only incrementally until it reaches the latest. So do this, Open the u1.exe run the update, close the program, open and run again, close it and repeat until you get to the latest version 3.5.60....
