Trying to learn more about my laptop, i've forgotten my bios password for a dell precision 7560.

After taking it to bits and removing the CMOS battery .. that hasnt worked, and with my browsing around the site ive identified its a service tag 8FC8 which is more difficult.

Looking for any help with resetting the password,

Good morning. I am a humble man currently failing at real life monopoly. So I decided to do what I have always loved and self teach electrical engineering while just about scraping a living. I still don't really know what electicity is.......what it REALLY is......

Anyway, I currently am very much in the early learning stage. But I have succesffuly repaired a GPU. The RTX 3080 TI Gigabyte Gaming OC edition. 3rd DrMosfet down. Replaced and new fuse. Bingo.

I have 3 other cards that have proven far more complex, which is great. I am learning a ton about a subject i actually enjoy.

I'm retired now but my job was repair, maintain and modify Flight Simulators for an Airline company.

I spend a few days each month helping others in Repair Café In Paris and Chartres.

I've been a long-time PC and hardware enthusiast, mostly focused on building and software-level troubleshooting. Recently, I've been wanting to dive deeper into the world of board-level diagnostics and repair, which is what led me to this highly-respected community.
My current challenge involves a bricked MSI Raider GE68 HX (MS-15M2 board) after a firmware-related issue. This experience has made it clear that understanding firmware, SPI flashing, and proper repair procedures is a critical skill, and I've already learned a tremendous amount just by reading through the wealth of knowledge shared here.
I'm here to learn from the experts, follow the rules, and hopefully, in time, contribute back to the community as my skills develop.
