Hello! I saw this forum while looking for console repair guides, and I really like what you fine folks have going so I figured I would join in and creep around the forum to slowly learn through osmosis XD
Previously an ASE certified Diesel Technician, so I have a small bit of formal electronics training, related at least to vehicles and ohm's law stuff.
Currently work in Cybersecurity, I've always been fascinated by hardware hacking and electronics, particularly PCBs and breadboarding.
Late 20s, Dial-up kid (we couldn't afford DSL when we got a computer for the home in early 2000s)
I do run a small homelab with a couple of rack servers for VMs, and some micro form factor desktops for testing OS and penetration testing.
Building PCs for around 5 years now, Just started a business to do electronics repair (hopefully more PCs and consoles than cell phones, but you have to go with what the customer has lol)
I'm just trying to be the best I can be, and I'm here to learn. If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask.Comment

Hi Everyone
My name is Richard. I am a network and systems administrator for a school. I work on a lot of tech and try to repair as much as I can. I have run into my first BIOS recovery so I came here as was recommended.
I have worked in the IT field for 25+ years. I currently work in K-12 education. I do everything from desktop support to network (LAN and WAN) to VoIP for my single charter school. If it is tech I run it.Comment

Hi, I am metalhead from Czech republic and electronic is my hobby. I suppose you know the story, one day you repair broken wire in the toy or something and few years later you end up in room full of parts and unfinishet projects. By the way english is my second language.Comment
