I am a software engineer and I have been engaged in this job for 20 years. I am from China. Hardware is not my area of expertise. However, I have a MacBook Pro and its battery is broken. After removing the battery, the original power adapter doesn't have enough power. When the MacBook Pro runs at full speed, it will cut off the power and restart. So I want to directly weld a high-power external power supply to the motherboard, and that's why I'm here.

Hello all you badcaps fiends - first of all: a Huge Thank You to the people who built and run this forum.
Who am I? A professional fixer in an industrial/manufactiring environment. I specialize in whatever controls are the problem of the day. Could be Allen Bradley- Rockwell, ABB or Yaskawa drives Yokogawa process controllers and dozens of others connected in any imaginable combination that will make amachine do what it is supposed to do. I have piles of failed controllers of all types that could be repaired, but the company wants the machine running ASAP so a replacement is purchased and installed. If I can start repairing some of the more expensive units I can make a comfortable position for myself within the company.
