I am an electronics DIY enthusiast and am very passionate about various circuit boards, such as designing circuit boards. I often create circuit boards based on my actual needs and also make some for sale. Although I haven't been learning for long, I have already sold a few hundred circuit boards. Hehe, real-world demand is always my motivation to learn.

Hi,
I'm Sillici... This looks like a useful community with helpful people.. I tried asking AI the response I received, went something like this ..
“- Rambler-Crane series Robot : It sounds like old morse code.
- Will Robinson: What does it say?
- Rambler-Crane series Robot : Danger, Will Robinson, danger.”

Hi everybody,
I'm from Italy. I've been interested in electronics since I was a child. I disassembled all the electronic devices to see how they worked, for the joy of my parents.
I became an electronic engineer Currently, I'm the one who fixes computer, TV, radio, smartphones, laundry machines, and many other things in my inner circle.
However, I can't know everything, so I'm here for sharing and looking for help 😉

Hello everyone,
My name is Freoxit, and I have been an avid tinkerer of electronics for over ten years. I am a mechanical engineer by profession, but will always love messing around with electronics and fixing stuff. I am currently learning more board level repair techniques and gaining access to some of the schematics on this site will be a game changer for me! Plus all the knowledge and knowhow. Can't wait to interact with you more! Thanks!

Hello fellow electronic enthusiasts. My name is Claudiu and, like you all, I share the same interest. I am a hobbyist with not so much on hand experience, but if I can and have knowledge about a subject, I like to help. That being said I am looking forward to learn more and try to help the community as good as I can.

So I'll start things off :
My name is petabyte and I'm a forum junkie. :oops:I've been off the wagon for a number of years and countless times I've tried to stop but it's useless.. I need to feed my learning addiction.. :!:
Now just a bit about me.. I'm a fairly secretive guy in terms of privacy on the net.. especially when the things you write are visable to anyone with a net connection. But I love to share the info and knowledge I have, so that's why I'm here, to share and learn.
my formal education is that of an electronic engineer and I held a field service position with a firm for over 20 years.. that job is gone now along with company car and laptop <cry> oh well..
So needless to say (but i will) I've always tinkered with things.. yes, a hacker.. (too bad that term lost it's orignal meaning) a hardware hacker mostly.. hacking fixes in whatever I find that breaks.. (except for cars, I have friends for that) I got started a little late into the computers, my first box was an ibm pc-xt with a whopping 10meg HD,blazing fast 4.66mhz 8086 processor, 640k mem running dos 3.3.. man was I cool back then.. nevermind..
so these days, I'm forced to be a software guy as well.. as I fix pc's for friends and that usually means cleaning virus/trojan/adware and reinstalling OS's.. yeah hardware breaks but not that often  so as a result, I keep up on my software knowledge by visting a few security forums.. and trolling around a few hardware forums as well.
now I found this place from a thread at motherboards.org/forums
where I've been hanging out lately.. it's a nice friendly place with some pretty smart people.. mostly, of course, it's about mobo's.. So this person mentioned badcaps.net and I recalled reading articles a year or so ago about the faulty caps and was curious as to what you guys were up to.. and I said "w00t.. they have a forum"..
and so now.. you're stuck with me :P
so what's your story ? come on.. give it up..
I research by modifying several laptops.
I would like to be active in this forum

Hi Everyone,
My name is Mateusz - Polish national based in Ireland since 2006
I started electronics journey when my very first toshiba laptop died in around 2008. Opened it up but it wouldn't turn on afterTurned out there was a cold BGA chip solder. I learned soldering by modifying consoles as a hobby, built several PC's and learned microsoldering recently. I also worked with BGA chips when ps3 and xbox 360 had their rrod and ylod issues. Some time after that I went to college and got degree in computer and electronic engineering. I am working full time as a firmware developer right now and I am bit rusty on comonenent level electronics. I am interested in fixing junk to reduce the e-Waste and as a hobby for family members and friends. I also worked in my spare time with my college buddy on broken macbooks some time ago when he used to work in one of the authorised shops.
