I'm Abdol, a passionate Embedded Systems and Robotics specialist with a bachelor’s degree in information systems . Despite my academic major, I’ve chosen to specialize deeply in embedded systems, a field I pursued with dedication through self-learning and hands-on experience.
Throughout my academic journey, I led the institute’s robotics team, supervised technical projects, and developed training programs that empowered over 500 students in Embedded Systems and Arduino. I’ve also mentored several graduation projects, helping students bring their innovative ideas to life.
I participated in multiple local and national competitions, achieving recognition and awards, and I’m now aiming to take these innovations to the international stage. Currently, I’m enrolled in a professional diploma in Automotive Embedded Systems.
I’m highly motivated to contribute to impactful projects in the fields of IoT, Robotics, and Smart Technologies. Open to job opportunities, technical collaborations, and building scalable embedded solutions that make a real-world difference.

Nice to meet you. I'm visiting from Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
It's a place rich in nature with views of Mount Fuji, Japan's highest mountain.

In the summer of 2025, I purchased three cheap, used, junk PCs for my family.
I needed to check their health, and became interested in BIOS/UEFI and the boot process.

I found this site because I came across an article that identified the BIOS chip in the PC I purchased, complete with photos.
The chip was marked "25Q128A" and appeared to be a flash ROM.
However, I don't know which manufacturer made the 25Q128A chip in my home PC.
Studying with AI has shown that depending on the BIOS chip's manufacturer and model number, it's possible for it to interact with the PC's chipset in a unique way.
Therefore, even if the BIOS chip is the same type, I won't know the full story until I identify the chip manufacturer and obtain and examine the chip's datasheet. The specifications of this PC's chipset, the Intel Q75 Express, are not fully public, and access to the BIOS ROM is not fully public information.
A software approach would not be able to access the entire BIOS chip.
Is what the AI told me true? If so, the only option left would be to use hardware methods.
Obtain a flash ROM datasheet and chip with the same manufacturer and model number as this PC's BIOS chip, and based on the electrical specifications listed on the datasheet, write a BIOS ROM image obtained from HP's website to the chip.
Then replace the BIOS chip on the motherboard.
This might be the only way to obtain a healthy PC completely free of malware?

If the BIOS chip is contaminated with malware, wouldn't the ROM rewriting and verification functions of the PC's firmware be unreliable?

I've spent the past few days studying the boot process and trying to find ways to restore a healthy PC. I'm still learning, and there's still a lot I don't understand, but with the help of the people on this site, I'll do my best to ensure my family can use the PC safely.

2025.08.14 The health of the PC has yet to be confirmed.
Thank you in advance for your help.

    HP Compaq Pro 6300 SFF
