Hi I am new to the forum. I tried years ago to sign up but couldn't figure out the registration process, but now have managed to activate my account. I like to dabble in electronics repair and modification, like fixing amplifiers and tweaking crossovers on speaker systems, looking for the perfect sound. Also have had a little experience in firmware modifications on ipods and games consoles just for fun. Hoping to find schematics and help/knowledge on various projects.
Thanks to everyone who has shared their knowledge here on the site.

Hello I am Umberto, I am mostly looking for professional schematics to look through to learn industry trends, thought processes, and level up from a junior/intermediate designer to higher.

Hello everyone, I’m new to electronics or the serious side of it anyways and am really gigging what I’ve gotten myself into so far. So if I ask a stupid question ( noob) please don’t be too harsh but I can take some pretty harsh replies being a 30 year veteran to pipe welding, extremely tough skin is needed in the oilfield and if you don’t got it you won’t last lol. But wanted to to introduce myself as the rules invoke and say hi!!

Heyy Everyone... i found your neat Forum, while searching for BIOS-Files for my ESPRIMO P400... i´m a 47yo german musician... not a highly technical person, but i´m interested in keeping my existing hardware running... so it might be helpful to have a look at some of the previous Forum-topics from time to time... my first PC was a C64... if i see a question and able to give reasonable answer... i´m willing to do so... have a great day o/

                        Hi everyone!

My name is Fabrizio, and after following the forum for a while, I finally decided to sign up and become an active member of this amazing community.

I've been passionate about electronics and computers since I was a kid — always opening things up, trying to fix old radios, consoles, or anything with a circuit board (with varying degrees of success 😄). Over the years, I’ve learned a lot, but there's still so much more I want to understand and explore.

I'm also really into retro gaming — I love classic consoles and vintage computers from the ‘80s and ‘90s, and I enjoy restoring and repairing them. There's something truly satisfying about bringing old hardware back to life and preserving a bit of tech history.

A big thank you to everyone who keeps this community alive. The knowledge and experience shared here are truly invaluable. I’m looking forward to learning even more and hopefully contributing in return.

Hi guys and girls (😁if any) glad to have joined here and increase my knowledge about all things electrical. Love to dabble in TV repairs, amplifiers and anything else I find in recycling bins. Need to now how things work. Hopefully will share some successes as I go and learn, an of course pass on the knowledge too. Thanks for accepting me here. Onward and upwards. cheers.

Hey everyone, Devin here. I own a small computer/tablet/phone repair business in south Florida. I started out as a $15/hr network admin when I was 18 and got tired of making less than everyone else that did half as much work as me, so I broke out on my own and never looked back. It was tough in the beginning, I had to work other side gigs because I didn't have enough customers to support my lifestyle, but after about 7 years I got busy enough to do this work and nothing else. Since then I can say I've been enjoying myself, except for the rare occasion I deal with a problem customer, but those are pretty rare; most people are simply happy to have a working device returned to them in better condition than it originally was in.

                              Hi all

Just signed up after searching for some elusive schematics for a vintage PC Motherboard. The resulting Google search had a YouTube link to a video from Rich from "Learn Electronics Repair" (I believe he posts on here) with suggestions for finding schematics, which was great, as I have watched many of his videos - highly recommended!.

I'm a 50 something male Maintenance Engineer from just outside Bristol, UK (Machinist by trade). I'm into retro PC's, and flight simming, this has led me to learn Fusion360 to 3d print, electrically design and construct a home simulator. I also repair electronic hardware as a hobbyist.

My first computer was a ZX Spectrum, my first PC was a Cyrix P200mmx+ from Time Computers

look forward to interacting with you all!

                              Cheers, Mark
