Hi guys, just decided to join your lovely forums. I found this place when I was searching for capacitors for replacing the bad GSCs that are on a board that a buddy from work gave me.
Hope to have some fun here as well as learn more about computer electronics and sharpen my electronics skills.Comment

Hi folks. I'll turn 60 this month. I started fixing TV's in the 60't at age 16. been at it off and on, last occupation was computer and monitor repair. Had a liver transplant in 2002, and some heart problems since, but am in fair shape otherwise. I live on 5 acres of brush where nearly everything here will stick, stab or bite you. I love bringing broken things back to life. Especially things that other folks have given me as "junk".Comment

Hey All!
I'm Kuro_Ni, I'm a tech enthusiast from Nicaragua. I moved fairly recently to the US and I started working in a electronics recycling center and it's been a blast. I'm a firm believer that if something can be fixed, we should give it a second chance.
I've been tinkering with computers since my dad got a Toshiba laptop with Windows 98 and I could not be stopped after that. I've built computers as a hobby and I have also worked as tech support for small companies.
I'm was drawn here because I got into the slippery slope of bios unlocking. It all started with using the bios-pw site and now I also purchased my own ch341a programmer, but I'm still nowhere near where I would like to be.
I'm really excited to join this community.Comment

Hi everyone,
My name is Luboš and I'm from the Czech Republic. I'm into electronics repair – mostly audio equipment and automotive electronics. I recently started working on a BMW OEM amplifier (part number 9 264 953) and I'll be posting a request for help identifying a missing SMD component on its PCB.
Happy to be here and learn from the community – thanks in advance!Comment
