                  Alright, here goes nothing.

I'm an IT guy, and one of my responsibilities is testing devices. I run a ton of testing scripts that I've created, etc. I'm mainly here because I came across something strange with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. When I researched the issue, I found that Microsoft released a firmware update that breaks all future firmware updates—and there's nothing you can do about it.

The problem is that this update disables the touch functionality. Any device affected by it becomes unusable in that regard. Microsoft has apparently fixed the issue in newer updates, but I have about 80 Surface Pro 4 units that I had to set aside, and I've never been able to do anything with them.

I'm coming to BadCaps to see if anyone here can help revisit this issue. Heck, I'd even give away a Pro 4 unit if someone could finally figure out how to fix this.

My next move will be to wait the hour and write a more detailed post about everything I've discovered about this issue, hoping there's a way to repair all of them.

I've already tried using the flash tool in the past, but I don't fully understand how it works—and I'm sure I messed something up. I'd really like to know if this issue is tied to the serial number or if the fix can be applied in bulk.

                  Cheers.
