some computer experience back in '86. It was all DOS. Not to long ago, I thought it was something just to do minor things like reformat and replacing drives. I'm learning hardware mainly. Though I am dabbling in site building.
Personal about me, I'm a nurse. Doing some serious research on becoming a PRN/midwife. Yes some would say it's foolish to go back to school now, but with "someones" support I will be in the top of my class. I hope to minor in some type of technology. I love to read, ride mtn bikes and want to learn to fly.

Hi all,

Complete newbie here trying to get into giving old laptops new life for family, friends and donation. Will be digging into locked laptop bioses (thanks, ex-enterprise owners!) and more in due time. By day I'm a Sys Admin in the Linux and Windows spheres, and outside of that I'm a petrolhead, music & tech junkie among other things (with a weird taste in music specifically!). Looking forward to getting to know people and into the hobby.

my name is Frank, and I'm a passionate computer enthusiast from Germany. I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Informatics, and alongside my academic journey, I love diving deep into both software development and the underlying hardware that makes it all possible.
While my main background is in software engineering, I've always been fascinated by the synergy between software and hardware.
