I'm the new guy today! Canadian transplant living in Tulsa Oklahoma. Automotive technician of 35 years just getting into board repair when I found this site. What a great resource to have at ones disposal! I was able to bring a GTX980ti and a Radeon R9 390 back to life.

Repairing electronics is so rewarding and cathartic for me. It puts me in a happy place! It's a WONDERFUL break from dealing with other people's broken vehicles.

I sold an old scan tool to buy a good soldering station, solder/flux, a microscope, and a heating pad.

I would love to retire from automotive work and repair electronics instead, but the money is so good on the automotive side right now.
