Hello internet!

My first computer was a Commadore 64 and my last purchase was Macbook Pro M1 Pro. Crazy how times have changed eh?

I'm 37 years old, from the states but permanently moved to Tokyo.
I enjoy repairing cameras, computers, video games, and audio equipment.
If you've ever been to Japan, you know there is so much "junk" available, so it keeps me busy.

In addition to repairing things, I also work as a photographer from time to time.

Hi all! I have had a life-long interest in computer hardware - my first computer was an 8088 back in elementary school and my fascination with circuit boards started soon after! To this day I love to build, repair and/or otherwise work on computers, from laptops to servers. Hey guys, I´d like to stay anonymous on the Internet, but I am in my 20s from Dresden, Germany and would like to repair an old surface 4 to run headless as a homeserver.
Somehow the charging controller is broken, as it kills every power supply after a few monthe. 3rd broken already .
So I'm trying to run it without battery. Let's see how it goes.
